While everyone else is focused on the less important NCAA Tournament and the Final Four, those in the know were focused on Thursday night’s College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, which is in it’s 28th year.

As with any college basketball event featuring amatuer athletes, there were corporate sponsors. One of those sponsors was Denny’s and as is their wont, they decided to send a giant pancake out onto the court for Mississippi State’s Craig Sword to try to dunk over.

Much like eating at Denny’s at 2 a.m., it was a big mistake.

Sword missed the dunk and the pancake hit the floor but it looks like both were just fine.

Still, we’ll always have the look on the pancake’s face to remind us how wonderful this moment was.
