A moose was on the loose on the South Dakota State football field on Friday in Brookings. While there was no official touchdown review, it appears that the moose ran out of bounds at the one-yard line before exiting Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
South Dakota State campus police deemed the moose to be one or two years, old, according to Keloland News.
Keloland adds that the moose “hung around campus for a time until officials were able to herd him west out of town.”

It’s a big weekend at South Dakota State too, with the Jackrabbits hosting North Dakota State on Saturday. North Dakota State (8-0) is ranked No. 2 in the FCS, while South Dakota State (6-2) is No. 9.
