Jordy Bahl kickstarted her Oklahoma Sooners softball career off last year with a bang. Bahl pitched a perfect game in an early-season matchup against Cal State Fullerton last February. On Friday afternoon, the star pitcher went and did it again.

Bahl and the Sooners celebrated another absolute romp. OU rolled Southeastern Louisiana 13-0 in run-rule fashion. In doing so, Bahl tossed another perfect game, the second of her already illustrious career.

“PERFECTION,” the OU Softball account tweeted to massive fanfare.

Bahl threw eight strikeouts to the 15 batters she faced in the game. She only needed 53 pitches to make history on Friday as she’s now done this sort of thing more tan once. She has thrown two perfect games in her career as well as one no-hitter last March. Bahl and Oklahoma, of course, won last year’s Women’s College World Series in impressive fashion.

Oklahoma softball is absolutely dominant yet again this season. They’re 18-1 on the season and don’t look to be stopping anytime soon.

After the perfecto was tossed, the college softball world had lots to say.

The team celebrated the win and considered it a “perfect” start to the weekend.

Her teammate, Alex Storako, said that she was honored to be alongside the star pitcher.

Daniel Chamberlain, like other Sooner fans, said Jordy was “Bahl’in” in her performance.

Derek Cody proclaimed “Perfection is unattainable…unless you play for OU Softball.”

A Sooner fan said the performance was “A genuine pleasure to watch!”

Another Sooner fan said the Oklahoma softball score resembled that of a football game.
