The Saint Peter’s Peacocks have pulled off another stunning upset — as 13-point underdogs — in the NCAA Tournament, taking down No. 3 seed Purdue 67-64 in the Sweet Sixteen. In doing so, Saint Peter’s becomes the first 15-seed to ever reach the Elite Eight.

The epitome of March Madness.
Perhaps we shouldn’t even be considering these Saint Peter’s wins to be big upsets (despite what the seeding and point spreads suggest).
Saint Peter’s took down 2-seed Kentucky 85-79 in the first round. They followed that up with a 70-60 victory over Murray State in the Round of 32. And now they take down a 3-seed in the Sweet 16. None of these wins have looked remotely fluky to the eye test.

I can’t believe that Saint Peter’s is going to the Elite Eight. You can’t believe Saint Peter’s is going to the Elite Eight. The college hoops world can’t believe Saint Peter’s is going to the Elite Eight.
But man, Saint Peter’s 100% believes they are going to the Eight Eight

Saint Peters has already beaten the program with the second most championships in NCAA Tournament history. Awaiting them next? No. 1 or No. 3.
