Cordell Broadus and Snoop Dogg

Four-star wide receiver and son of Snoop Dogg, Cordell Broadus, left UCLA last August, rejoined the program in March, and now he’s left the team again.

UCLA head coach Jim Mora said after a Bruins practice that Broadus was no longer with the program, via Bruins Nation:

Cordell is no longer with the program. He’s going to pursue other passions in his life and we encourage that. I appreciate that fact that he came back out again this Spring and gave it another shot. But this is an incredibly talented young man in so many areas and it will be fun to watch what he does with his life. We haven’t heard the last from him. Probably, just the start.

The video from Mora is below, and can be found starting at the 2:35 mark.

Broadus had a heavy USC influence thanks to his father, but that all changed when his son committed to the Bruins.

Hey, perhaps third time is the charm though?
