The Texas Longhorns’ football program is certainly doing its best this offseason to look appealing to recruits.
Texas hired the highly coveted Tom Herman to be their new football coach, and they’re also revamping the team’s locker room. You may have even seen Herman recently taking a sledgehammer to the old lockers:

Well, not only do the Longhorns have new lockers, they have new $10,500 lockers! That’s $10,500 apiece, not $10,500 total for all of the lockers. And you can understand why they’re so expensive when you see that they come with 43-inch television monitors instead of nameplates, as well as glowing locker doors:

At #Texas UT's new lockers are pretty hi-tech. Each has a 43-inch flat screen & locker doors glow. Cost: $10,500 per. pic.twitter.com/P4je7D4LQq

I’m sure the players would rather just be paid, but those are certainly incredible lockers that will be appreciated by current players, and impress future recruits.
