Pitt is up a touchdown near the end of the third quarter in Knoxville. If the Panthers an hang on to beat Tennessee, it wouldn’t technically be an upset, but it would still be a huge win for the visitors.

They haven’t been afraid to pull out the stops for it, either; early on, Pitt broke out a double-pass trick play that saw receiver Jared Wayne hit tight end Lucas Krull for a go-ahead score.

Winning on the road isn’t easy, and Pitt is currently clinging to a 34-27 lead as the fourth quarter gets underway. If they manage to hang on, this trick play execution (and the willingness to get creative and call it) might end up being the difference.
