For the second time this college basketball season, the St. Joseph’s Hawks lost on a wild buzzer-beating three to George Mason.
Both finishes were more unfortunate than anything for St. Joe’s.
In the loss Wednesday night, a George Mason player lost control of the ball and knocked over three St. Joe’s players going after the loose ball with the game tied 76-76. While four players were on the ground, the ball found its way to George Mason’s Ian Boyd, and the Patriots’ sophomore guard nailed a three at the buzzer for the win.

That’s rough a way to lose for St. Joe’s… again. On Jan. 10, St. Joe’s lost by one point on this long buzzer-beating three from George Mason’s Otis Livingston.
