You have to hand it to the dedicated air-savvy fans of UCLA. They continue to fly airplanes around Los Angeles with banners calling for the firing of UCLA men’s basketball head coach Steve Alford.

We first caught wind of this show of passion and very public call for change at UCLA earlier this week, but images of updated banners continue to surface. A new banner reading “March Madness is not firing Alford” was captured on camera on Friday, as the NCAA tournament was ongoing for those fortunate enough to be involved in the tournament this season (which has not been going well for UCLA’s Pac-12 brethren).

UCLA is coming off a losing season and has been bounced from the tournament in the regional semifinal round each of the previous two seasons under Alford. There is no indication UCLA is inching toward a coaching change, but until the Bruins start winning again we can probably expect to see a few more airplane banners when basketball is on the mind.
