Thursday’s CAA lacrosse semifinal between UMass and No. 14 Hofstra seemed destined for overtime with the score tied 12-12 and the clock ticking down. Then right before the buzzer, UMass midfielder Dan Muller (not to be confused with Illinois State basketball coach Dan Muller) let loose a 35-yard bullet that miraculously found its way into the net:

You could feel the heartbreak on the Hofstra sideline, but look at how happy those Minutemen were. They’ll get a shot at Towson for the conference title on Saturday.
