The Utah Utes softball team just earned their first trip to the Women’s College World Series since 1994!
Utah defeated San Diego State in the Super Regionals in Salt Lake City to punch their ticket to OKC. It’s the first time in nearly 30 years that the Utes will compete for the NCAA Softball Championship in the WCWS.
As you might expect, the long-awaited return to the event was met with huge fanfare.
The Utes’ Softball account posted how the game ended. It was pandemonium in SLC when Utah recorded the final out.
