Tennessee athletic director John Currie is reportedly on the hot seat after public backlash — largely on social media — caused the Vols to back out of hiring Greg Schiano as head football coach over the weekend.

Well, Monday night’s edition of WWE Raw was conveniently held in Knoxville. That meant many Vols fans were in the building, and naturally, a “Fire Currie!” chant broke out.

Clearly the fans didn’t put much into a statement Currie released on Monday defending the attempt to hire Schiano.
