Washington Huskies softball star Sami Reynolds had a very interesting afternoon that involved a gaggle of geese.

Reynolds and her huskies played by the lake in Seattle against Pac-12 rival Arizona. Reynolds put UW on the board with a power-packed two-run double.

What came after that? Just your ordinary geese invasion. A gaggle of geese descended on Husky Softball Stadium during the top of the sixth inning. The geese frolicked in the outfield and Reynolds, in the outfield as well, pursued them.

Reynolds successfully cornered and then chased the geese off as they flew away up to Lake Washington!

She received a round of cheers from the Washington fans who packed the stadium.

Naturally, the video went viral on Twitter and has already climbed over 7,000 views.

Reacts came around from around the softball world.

“‘How many times have you watched this video?’

Me: Yes,” one fan tweeted.

Because someone couldn’t resist, a fan spliced in the Benny Hill music while Reynolds chased after the geese.

“HONKBALL,” SickosOfSummer hilariously tweeted.

“So we’ve had parrots, dogs, and now a goose on softball fields this season. It’s a zoo!” another fan tweeted. It is pretty funny when you lay it out like that.

And Brady Vernon called it “incredible content.”

That it most certainly is. Incredible also is that Washington won this game against Arizona. The Huskies defeated the Wildcats thanks to Reynolds’ 2-run it, as they won 3-1.
