This time of year, we see our fair share of half-court buzzer beaters to end halves and quarters. But it’s safe to say none of them will look quite like the one hit by Molly Kreycik for Montana State Northern in the NAIA Tournament on Thursday.

With the clock winding down in the first quarter of MSU Northern’s game against Loyola (La.), Kreycik took the inbound pass, threw up a shot from well beyond the mid-court line and…

It went in twice! Went through the hoop, popped back up and went in again.

Kreycik definitely has a case for getting six points here, given that the ball went in twice, but she should at least get four, right? The degree of difficulty on that shot is insane.

Montanta State Northern, a 3 seed, went on to beat 6-seed Loyola 60-55 to advance to the next round of the NAIA Tournament, so Kreycik and company didn’t need any extra points. But next time she makes a shot like that, she should petition for some extra credit.
