It seems every Duke game sees Zion Williamson doing some incredible things, but that was particularly the case Saturday in the No. 2 Blue Devils’ 81-71 road win over the No. 3 Virginia Cavaliers. With less than five minutes left and Duke up 68-61, Williamson came flying out from the key to close down what at first looked like an open three-point attempt for Virginia guard De’Andre Hunter, emphatically rejecting Hunter’s shot into the stands:

Here’s a freeze-frame side angle look at that:

We’ve seen crazy blocks from Williamson before, even ahead of his time at Duke, but this one felt like it was on another level. And unsurprisingly, Twitter went wild for this:
Zion blocked that corner 3. Low pass and slow gather and blah blah blah. That’s still absurd. pic.twitter.com/RyYkZ75jzA

we're all just sitting here in stunned silence, eyes wide and laughing incredulously after that Zion block

And earlier in this game, Williamson had another nice highlight with a steal and a forceful two-handed dunk:

Williamson finished the day with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks. Not bad, not bad at all.
