Following a disappointing season for the Los Angeles Rams and an injury toward the end of the season that left him sidelined, many speculated that Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald could choose to retire or play elsewhere to finish the season, especially after Donald appeared to hint at a move in his Twitter bio. But it appears that won’t be happening, after all.

Earlier this week, Fox Sports senior writer Peter Schrager shared a podcast clip discussing the future of Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald. In the clip, Rams teammate Chris Long said that he thinks Donald is “going to play next year,” saying that he has “very good reason to believe that.” And Donald confirmed it by replying to the tweet.

“Tell em C Lo yeah I’m playn never said I wasn’t,” Donald said in a tweet.

While this adds some clarity that Donald will be playing football next season, it does not necessarily indicate that he will be playing football for the Los Angeles Rams. In the clip, Long indicates that Donald will not want to be part of a rebuilding process and speculated that he might seek a trade to another team.

If Donald is truly agreeing with everything Long said, he may be out of Los Angeles, after all.
