It appears that new New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a friendly adversary to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter with Schefter constantly. trying to get the best information and Rodgers constantly complaining about it. And that adversarial relationship added quite a hilarious chapter on Wednesday during Aaron Rodgers’ introductory press conference with the team.

During the press conference, Aaron Rodgers was asked why he hadn’t spoken directly with the Packers before the trade to the Jets. And after offering an odd explanation revealing that the Packers didn’t FaceTime him, a reporter asked Rodgers what the best number to reach him at would be.

Rodgers had a pretty hilarious response: ask Adam Schefter.

Schefter himself had a pretty hilarious response to Rodgers, quote the tweet and saying “Lost that number.”

This of course is in reference to a comical situation that emerged earlier this year when Aaron Rodgers famously told Schefter “Lose my number. Good try tho.” And Schefter provided proof of the interaction with a screenshot that he shared to twitter.

All in all, this is a very entertaining relationship between Rodgers and Schefter. And despite their differences, it’s clear that there is mutual respect between the two.
