With former top receiver Davante Adams now playing for the Las Vegas Raiders, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will need to find a new top receiver this season, and based on Rodgers’ recent wardrobe selection, it looks Allen Lazard might be the guy.

According to Green Bay Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Rodgers was seen in the Packers locker room wearing a special t-shirt indicating that Lazard might be his new favorite target this season.

“No still photography allowed in the locker room and he didn’t talk today, but Aaron Rodgers is wearing a “Rodgers/Lazard ‘23 MAKE GREEN BAY GREAT AGAIN” T-shirt,” Schneidman Tweeted.

The shirt’s message is certainly newsworthy and could provide a hint at what Green Bay’s offense could look like this season. It also goes right along with what Rodgers has said about Lazard all preseason.

“Obviously, Allen Lazard is going to step into the No. 1 role,” Rodgers said of Lazard back in July, “and I think it’s going to be a very seamless transition for him as a primary blocker and kind of a niche guy for us, to get an opportunity to get more throws, be No. 1 in the progression more often.”

Rodgers is making his thoughts on Lazard very clear. Now we’ll just have to see how the Green Bay offense looks as a result.
