Four-time NFL MVP and former Super Bowl champion Aaron Rodgers has a legitimate argument as the most talented quarterback of all time in his physical prime. Rodgers isn’t quite the same caliber these days, at 42 years old, but he is still more than capable of leading a contender.
In Rodgers’ first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he led the franchise to an AFC North title, proof that he is still more than capable after many questioned his ability following two disappointing seasons with the New York Jets.
Unfortunately, Rodgers and the Steelers failed to win a playoff game, stretching the franchise’s drought of playoff wins to a full decade. The Steelers closed the season not knowing whether Rodgers would retire, return, or opt to side with a new team heading into next season.
On Wednesday, Rodgers confirmed that he and the Steelers still haven’t determined what’s next.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“He’s really doing this again? Come on now this would be better like 10 years ago but why tf he dragging this out like he’s still elite,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I’d much rather have Rodgers for another year than Kyler for any amount. Our future QB is Will Howard or NOT in the NFL yet imo,” someone else added.
“Does nothing but make things more difficult for whatever team he’s on. if he cared about the team he would let them know before free agency but can’t expect that from this guy,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see what Rodgers decides.
