Aaron Rodgers on The Pat McAfee Show

It’s safe to say that Aaron Rodgers does a lot of “alternative” thinking about the state of the world. The anti-vaxxer was thought to be taking part in a “darkness retreat” this week but instead appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday to take part in his favorite pastimes, scolding the media and saying things that you’d expect your weird uncle to say.

Rodgers took plenty of time to chastise NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport over their sourcing, saying “I have no problem with Ian Rapoport, Schefter. I think they’re really good at their jobs. When it comes to me, they don’t know s***.”

Later on in the interview, Rodgers, who is prone to discussing being an “independent thinker” and is the kind of person who uses “woke” way too much, went full conspiracy nut as he drew lines between the recent Chinese spy balloon drama,  the railroad explosion in Ohio, and potential revelations surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein guest list.

“Well, there’s been a lot of disclosure recently,” said Rodgers. “There’s a lot of old papers and files and different things about interactions that Navy pilots have had with unidentified flying objects. So this is not surprising. Obviously, there was some sort of Chiese spy balloon that was up in the air, allegedly. And there’s been a few other objects that have been shot down. I believe that this has been going on for a long time. Interesting timing on everything. There’s a lot of other things going on in the world.”

When McAfee asked if some of these recent events might be a purposeful distraction, Rodgers agreed.

“Could be some of that, yeah…”

Rodgers then launched into a diatribe about the disturbing Jeffrey Epstein case and how it might tie into current events.

“Did you hear about the Epstein client list about to be released too? There’s some files that have some names on it that might be getting released pretty there. [Ghislaine] Maxwell was the only person to ever get convicted of trafficking and nobody who was involved in the trafficking ever went to jail. Nothing to see here.”

And that’s not even the full rundown of all the topics Rodgers covered on Tuesday.

No wonder NFL teams are starting to wonder about Rodgers and what’s going on in his head as they consider the possibility of trading for him.
