It’s that time of the week again. During his weekly spot on The Pat McAfee Show, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers addressed his future. Whether it’ll be with the team he’s spent his entire career with or not, remains to be seen.
“It’s going to be a little more time for my decision, and I feel confident that in a couple weeks, I’ll definitely feel more strongly about one of those two decisions,” Rodgers said via Pat McAfee on Twitter.

Rodgers was not asked specifically about NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN’s report. That report indicated that the Packers may be ready to move on from the reigning MVP. Schefter says changes are on the way for the Packers; the only question is if their plans include Rodgers.
“It sounds like there’s already conversations going on that aren’t involving me, which are interesting,” Rodgers added. “I’m not a part of those conversations right now. When I make up my mind one way or another, then…everybody else will know at some point.”
If Rodgers does continue his playing career and the Packers elect to move on, there has been a lot of speculation about where he’ll go. It could be with the New York Jets. Those rumors have become more rampant since Nathaniel Hackett was recently hired to be Gang Green’s offensive coordinator. Though, it’s unknown whether that would sway Rodgers to come to the Big Apple.
While Aaron Rodgers sidestepped addressing those rumors, he acknowledged the presence that Hackett has had in his career.
“We all have certain coaches that have meant a lot to us over the years and have created those really special rooms to play in… Obviously Nathaniel’s one of those guys,” Rodgers said.
