Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly seems to know why New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury. He claims it’s because Rodgers does drugs and doesn’t go to church.
Yes, you heard right. It wasn’t because Rodgers is 39 or playing on artificial turf in the rain. Nope, it’s because of ayahuasca and lack of church attendance.
“I totally saw this coming,” Kelly bragged on the conservative cable news outlet.
“This was gonna be a disaster. He lost the eye of the tiger. A competitive quarterback can’t be all happy and goofy all the time. Something happened to this guy, and I think I know what it was — drugs,” he said. “He got involved in psychedelics.”
Kelly also added “What? How about going to church, “Whatever the hell he’s talking about, ayahuasca tea is a crummy substitute for God.”
Rodgers is a known anti-vaxxer but he does not support either Joe Biden or Donald Trump, which may explain why the conservative host went in on the four-time MVP.
Social media then went in on Kelly about his Rodgers comments, with many saying they were not only ridiculous but classless.
