Aaron Rodgers broke his silence on Wednesday. The New York Jets quarterback saw his 2023 season end before it could really even begin. Rodgers suffered a debilitating Achilles injury that will sideline him for the entire NFL season. The injury sent shockwaves around the NFL, as Rodgers and the Jets were thought to be one of the most fascinating combinations in the league.
As others around the league commented on the move, Rodgers was mum. That is until Wednesday evening. Rodgers emerged and posted on his official Instagram account an announcement that he would soon be back.
“The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again,” Rodgers said, closing the post. The rest of the post was littered with goodwill from the Jet quarterback.

“Thank you to every person that has reached out, called, texted, DM’d, connected through a friend, etc. It has meant a ton to me, and I’ll try and get back to all of you soon.
“I’m completely heartbroken and moving through all the emotions, but deeply touched and humbled by the support and love. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I begin the healing process today,” Rodgers said.
He also said he was proud of the Jets and posted their 1-0 record.
Aaron Rodgers’ future in the NFL is now in doubt after this Achilles injury. May he have a speedy recovery, however, and get back to the field soon.
