Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has only just begun his time with the New York Jets, but it sounds like he’s already making an impact on his new team.
With the Jets beginning organized team activities this week, ESPN reporter Dianna Russini spoke to several New York Jets players and coaches about what Rodgers has already brought to the team.
“Spoke to multiple Jets players & coaches about the impact of Aaron Rodgers:
*The standard has been raised
*The “little details” are significant to Rodgers
*Everyone is being held accountable in meetings and on the field
*Rodgers HAS A LOT OF SAY
*He’s ALL IN
*Trust is building,” Russini said on Twitter on Tuesday morning.

It sounds like he’s already leading the team and making a strong impact both on the field and off the field. And people had plenty to say about these updates on social media.
Most meaningful item you'll hear out of OTAs this year. Everything else is window dressing. Rookies will flash. 2nd yr players will improve. But the mindset of a champion is in preparation, accountability and details. The little things are the big things. https://t.co/b8KGWRYMz6

This is going to be amazing to look back at as he throws the game-ending interception in the first Monday Night game of the season and he walks off the field glaring at some receiver who ran a perfect route. https://t.co/MLtDYD2xKd

Sounds an awful lot like Matt Ryan early on in indy. Surely this will go better though. https://t.co/VwjhGnK9bf

Obviously, there’s still a long way to go before the start of the season and even longer to go before the Jets have the chance to potentially accomplish anything significant in the postseason. But for now, it appears that things are going well for Rodgers and the New York Jets.
Let’s see how long that lasts.
