The Pittsburgh Steelers’ season came to an unceremonious close on Monday night, and it left many fans wondering if the career of four-time MVP and surefire first ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers did as well.
When Rodgers signed with the Steelers, he acknowledged that this would probably be his last go-around. However, as the year progressed, he seemed open to revisiting how he felt after the year.
Now that the season has officially wrapped in the Steel City, Rodgers is confirming that he is going to revisit things, and it sounds as if he is going to be taking his time.
“Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers “not going to make any emotional decisions” on future right after postseason loss to Texans,” Around the NFL reported after the Steelers’ Wild Card loss to the Houston Texans.

Fans reacte to Rodgers’ decision on social media.
“He says ‘I need to get away’, Steelers fans should prepare to wait for his next ‘darkness retreat’ &/or ‘ayahuasca’ trip. And NO, im not judging him at all for this & believe they can both b beneficial for some ppl (not all),” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Tomlin needs a fall guy every year. Matt Canada, Kenny Pickett, Russell Wilson etc. Rodgers won’t be back. Kirk Cousins, come on down!” another fan added.
“Bro needs to hang em up. Can even have his tush pushed,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see what Rodgers decides.
