Veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen hasn’t had to go far throughout his football career, growing up in the state of Minnesota and playing college ball at Minnesota State before ultimately landing with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. But after a trade that sent him to the Carolina Panthers, he’s now facing a big change – but he sounds excited about it.

During a press conference this week, Adam Thielen said that he’s excited to “prove myself again” for a new team after spending 10 years with the Vikings.

“It feels like a whole different world for me,” Thielen said according to Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer. “Super exciting — kind of a breath of fresh air — I’ve got to go prove myself, again. . . . I’ve got to meet a lot of people and prove that I’m the player that I am to everybody in this building. So, it’s definitely a different experience for me, but, like I said, it’s kind of keeping me young, keeping me fresh and excited.”

Thielen established himself as one of the most dominant and productive receivers in the league with the Vikings. It will certainly be interesting to see how he can help the Panthers this upcoming season.
