The Detroit Lions had one of their best seasons in franchise history last year. The Lions not only won the NFC North but also finished with the number one overall seed in the NFL for the first time in franchise history.

Unfortunately, the Lions had to deal with an unfathomable number of injuries, which contributed to their early exit from the playoffs last season, including a season-ending leg injury to star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson.

However, the Lions have just received some great news concerning Hutchinson, per one prominent outlet.

“I’m fully cleared. . . . I’m rolling with the boys now and it feels like I’m back to being myself again,” Hutchinson said, according to Pro Football Talk. “I’m really looking forward to the season. I think this is the most excited I’ve been for OTAs in my life. This is the biggest hiatus I’ve had without playing ball so I’m pumped.”

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Terror is back in Detroit! This team would have been in the Super Bowl with him,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Good. Always want to see good players playing. He was having a hell of a season, awful it was cut short,” someone else added.

“Hope he is able to come back at least close to the level he was once at,” wrote another fan.

It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes Hutchinson to get back to the level he was at when he suffered the brutal injury.
