Green Bay Packers

With former Green Bay Packers star receiver Davante Adams with the Las Vegas Raiders this season, veteran wide receiver Allen Lazard was suddenly the team’s top and most experienced receiver this season. And now, there’s a very real chance that the team won’t even have him on the roster next season.

Following Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Detroit Lions that eliminated the Packers from playoff contention, Allen Lazard got honest about his future with the Packers, revealing that he realized that could have been his last game in a Green Bay uniform as he’s set to become a free agent in the offseason.

“Definitely going into the game I kind of had a realization that my first game here and potentially my last game — which it is — was going to be versus the Lions at home,” Lazard said according to Pro Football Talk. “I took in just a few moments just to kind of soak it all in and just like pat myself on the back, I guess, and just be thankful for this opportunity and this experience to be here for four-plus years now, to see the growth I’ve made on the field, but more so off the field.”

Lazard was the Packers’ top receiver this season, leading the team with 60 catches for 788 yards and six touchdowns this season.
