New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been one of the best running backs in the NFL for the past few seasons, but he may find himself in a lot of hot water following an arrest last night.

Kamara was arrested Sunday night following an altercation at a nightclub in Las Vegas following yesterday’s Pro Bowl game. Kamara was charged with battery resulting in substantial bodily harm for the altercation.

More details have emerged from the arrest this afternoon when the police reports were released on the incident.

Darnell Greene, the assault victim, detailed in his reports to the police that Kamara put his hand on Greene’s chest to prevent him to get into an elevator. Greene pushed Kamara’s hand off of his chest and was then pushed back and kicked and punched by Kamara and his group of people with him.

Greene stated that he lost consciousness in the altercation, which ultimately resulted in Greene sustaining an orbital bone fracture in his right eye.

Kamara was also taken in for an interview after the altercation, where he alleged that Greene was being hostile towards one of his friends on the elevator.

He then said that he saw a fight breaking out in the elevator, threw “a couple punches” and claimed that he thought Greene had harmed one of his friends and was trying to run away.

The video recording of the altercation disputes that claim according to the police reports, so it appears that Kamara could be in some serious legal trouble going forward, leaving his future with the Saints and in the NFL up in the air going forward.
