Ever since the terrifying situation regarding Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin took place on Monday night, Hamlin and his family have received an outpouring of support from near and far as so many people are looking to help in any way they can in what appears to be a helpless situation. As a result, the number of donations to Hamlin’s charity has absolutely exploded – and one NFL star is among the donors.

As sports betting analyst Jon Metler points out, New Orleans Saints starting quarterback Andy Dalton made a subtle, but certainly not insignificant donation to the Damar Hamlin charity “The Chasing M’s Foundation Community Toy Drive,” sending $3,000 to the charity.

“Remember when Bills Mafia donated to Andy Dalton’s charity when he helped them make the playoffs? Dalton hasn’t forgotten either,” Metler said while sharing screencaps detailing Dalton’s donation.

There has not been a firm update on Hamlin’s condition, but one of his friends and coworkers was able to reveal that his vitals had returned to normal and he was intubated. While he could not give many specific updates, he did say that Hamlin was “a fighter.”

Hamlin’s family also released a statement thanking everyone for the outpouring of support.
