Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has long been known as one of the most accomplished coaches in the NFL, but the Chiefs’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday has notched Reid another impressive accolade that speaks to his excellence.
Saturday marked Reid’s tenth postseason victory as head coach of the Chiefs, which makes him the only coach in NFL history to win ten playoff games with two separate organizations.

Reid famously started his head coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he coached from 1999-2012 and racked up 10 postseason wins along with one Super Bowl appearance in 2004.
It certainly seems like he is getting even better with age, with his last eight postseason wins coming in just the last four seasons.
The NFL world took notice of this amazing accomplishment for Reid and gave him his much-deserved props on social media following Saturday’s win.

Andy Reid has a higher winning percentage during his tenure as the Kansas City Chiefs head coach than Bill Belichick has for his tenure as the New England Patriots head coach.

It’s really amazing what Andy Reid has done in KC. Chiefs being in the AFC championship game feels so normal and almost routine.
Death. Taxes. Chiefs in the Championship game.

Saturday’s win also vaults Reid up the all-time postseason wins list, tying him with legendary Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry for second behind New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick with 20 total postseason wins.

While these accomplishments are obviously great for Andy Reid, there is more work to be done this postseason for Kansas City. With their win, the Chiefs have advanced to the AFC Championship game, where they will take on the winner of Sunday’s game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals.
