Antonio Brown has been known to honor people who have passed away on his shoes. For Veteran’s Day, the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver will honor Pat Tillman with some very special custom cleats.
The NFL doesn’t let players wear altered apparel during games but does allow for such displays to be worn during pregame warm ups. Sometime tells us they won’t have any problem with this uniform alteration.

Following 9/11 and the 2001 NFL season, Tillman decided to enlist in the U.S. Army. He was killed in Afghanistan as the age of 27. Tillman would have been 40 if he were still alive for his birthday this week.
Tillman’s legacy lives on and is a constant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice he gave to our nation. Brown honoring him brings him back in the spotlight and allows for people to remember him properly.
