The Arizona Cardinals are looking to get back to the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Cardinals and their fans, this season has not inspired a lot of hope that this year’s team has what it takes to reach the playoffs, let alone make a deep playoff run.
That was until Monday night, when Arizona traveled to Dallas to face off against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals won the game 27-17 on the road, and the game never even truly felt as close as that.
One notable takeaway was that veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who was filling in for Kyler Murray as Murray works his way back from a foot injury, had much better chemistry with wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. than Murray has displayed.
It would appear that wasn’t lost on the decision makers in Arizona’s building, as the team has decided to keep rolling with the veteran, according to one prominent league insider.
“QB news in Arizona: Cardinals are sticking with QB Jacoby Brissett as their starter for Sunday’s game in Seattle,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“This is the right move. Brissett has been a much-needed improvement for the Cardinals offense Now we’re on trade watch this off-season for Kyler,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Kyler has a lot more time to play Call of Duty now,” another person added.
It’ll be interesting to see where Murray’s career goes from here.
