Little by little, investigators are getting to the bottom of the burglaries of athletes that became a common occurrence in 2024.

Arrests were made and seven men have been charged with conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property, in connection to athlete robberies that targeted pro athletes, according to ABC News.

The arrested men are between 20 to 38 years of age and are accused of stealing over $2 million worth of property. If convicted, the men are facing as many as 10 years of prison.

The criminal complaint has linked these men to the burglaries of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce during one of their Monday night football games.

Fans on social media reacted to the news of the arrests on social media.

“Lock em up and throw away the key,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“This is what you support florio and Travis does with your votes for Biden. You caused these people to be let in, not a surprise that it’s guys from the same country that did the same thing against burrow huh,” another fan added.

“Not a good time to be part of an apprehended Chilean multi-state crime syndicate operating in the current United States,” added another fan.

It’ll be interesting to see if the arrests lead to convictions.
