NFL free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson could one day see himself enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame. During his prime, Jackson was one of the most electrifying receivers to ever play the game.
And after 15 seasons in the NFL, it appears that Jackson is ready to call it a career. In an Instagram post featuring Jackson playing with the Baltimore Ravens, the wide receiver sent a clear message about his future in the league.
“Did it my way 15 years strong!! Neva anotha like it!” Jackson captioned the photo before adding a “#0ne0fone” hashtag.
Jackson would still have to file paperwork with the league office to make his retirement official, but that would certainly appear imminent given all the congratulatory comments on his career that fans and players left on the post.
As of early Sunday afternoon, the post had been “liked” over 35,000 times.
Jackson played collegiately with the California Golden Bears. He entered the league in 2008, when the Philadelphia Eagles selected him with the 49th overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Jackson had two stints with the Eagles while also playing for the Washington Commanders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens.
Jackson last played in 2022, appearing in seven games for the Ravens and recording nine receptions. He holds the NFL career record for touchdowns over 60 yards with 26.
