The Baltimore Ravens have made a big splash this offseason, adding high-profile free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and inking star quarterback Lamar Jackson to a long-term contract. And it looks like they are making yet another big addition.
According to league insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Baltimore Ravens are signing former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney to a one-year deal.
“Another year, another late addition of pass-rush help: This time, the #Ravens are signing Jadeveon Clowney to a 1-year deal, giving them a key situational rusher. He’ll complement Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo off the edge,” Ian Rapoport said in a tweet.

Jadeveon Clowney was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans where he spent four seasons. Following his stint with the Texans, he spent one season with the Seattle Seahawks and one season with the Tennessee Titans before spending the past two years with the Cleveland Browns.
While he may never have developed into the superstar player he was projected to be out of college, Clowney has had a strong NFL career, earning three Pro Bowl nominations in addition to a second-team All-Pro nod back in 2016.
