The Baltimore Ravens are hard on the heels of the Pittsburgh Steelers for control of the AFC North. The Steelers are in the middle of a 1-3 stretch, while the Ravens are in the middle of a three-game win streak.
As expected, the Ravens have gotten a major boost from the return of star quarterback Lamar Jackson from injury. Unfortunately, Jackson’s clean bill of health appears to be short-lived, as he’s now dealing with more issues and is being forced to miss practice, according to one prominent league insider.
“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson didn’t practice today due to what HC John Harbaugh said is knee soreness, but the team expects Jackson to return to practice Thursday,” reported ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Jackson’s mobility is such a key part of the Ravens’ offense. Even mild knee soreness can affect his running and cutting, so the team is smart to manage his workload carefully before he jumps back into practice,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Lamar’s knees doing their own thing again… classic ‘will show up when I feel like it’ energy,” another fan added.
“Hopefully it’s really just soreness. Ravens can’t afford to lose Lamar, especially with the schedule ahead,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see if this is a lingering issue for Jackson for the rest of the season.
