Entering the 2022 NFL preseason, the Baltimore Ravens already had the longest preseason winning streak of any team in NFL history, and they extended that streak by three more games by going undefeated during this year’s NFL preseason.

With preseason victories over the Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders this preseason, the Ravens have now won 23 consecutive preseason games – the most in NFL preseason history. Baltimore has not lost a preseason game since 2015.

While it may seem like a relatively inconsequential stat, the team does seem to enjoy it.

“That’s lit,” Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said when he learned of the streak last year, according to Pro Football Talk. “We want to win at the end of the day. I don’t care if it’s preseason. We compete against each other in practice. We want to win. It’s good to just keep winning.”

Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers held the previous preseason record, winning 19 straight preseason games from 1959 to 1962, but the Packers lost to a college all-star team to snap the streak, according to Pro Football Talk. Green Bay did win its next four preseason games against NFL teams, however. So technically, the Packers did win 23 consecutive preseason games against NFL opponents.

But with three wins this preseason, the Ravens tied that streak, too. And with a win to open the preseason next year, they’ll have that record by themselves.
