Chicago Bears veteran linebacker Lamarr Houston was on ESPN’s SportsNation on Monday, and said that Ezekiel Elliott’s crop-top dress shirt at the NFL Draft last Thursday was “disrespectful”:

That half-shirt? That is one topic right there that had me irate. You know, I think it’s kind of disrespectful. A half-shirt at the draft? This is a traditional thing.

Kind of an odd thing to say, especially with it coming from a guy that is best known for tearing his ACL on a sack celebration dance, when the Bears were trailing the New England Patriots 48-23 in the final minutes of an October 2014 game.

In all seriousness, I get where Houston is coming from, but will just have to disagree here. Elliott was simply having some fun, and most of us thought it was great (or at least funny). A player showing off his abs at the draft is very, very far down the list of things we should be complaining about with the NFL these days.
