Having been the favourites with some betting sites for Super Bowl LIV before the start of the 2019 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs delivered the goods in Miami and rewarded punters who took the short price of 5/1 before a ball was snapped.

Andy Reid’s team, who came from 10 points down to overcome the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 on Sunday night, are the front-runners to win the title again next year according to the oddsmakers, with a best price of 7/1.

Kyle Shanahan and the Niners may have given up a big lead at Hard Rock Stadium, but the bookies are not giving up on the five-time Super Bowl winners, who you can get at 10/1 to triumph in Tampa in 2021. They remain the top NFC pick for now.

The Baltimore Ravens were massively fancied to go all the way this year, but a surprise home defeat by the Tennessee Titans in the Divisional Round spoiled the Lamar Jackson party. Expect John Harbaugh’s team to bounce back and go deep, with the 8/1 price a tempter.

Another team that crashed out in surprising fashion was the New Orleans Saints. They fell at home to the Minnesota Vikings after looking exceptional in the regular season, going 13-3. Drew Brees is expected to agree on a new contract, and while they have him along with other weapons such as Michael Thomas as Alvin Kamara, backing them at 12/1 is no mug’s bet.

There is uncertainty around the New England Patriots, who would never normally be so far down the pecking order as far as the odds are concerned. It is worth looking around for the biggest price as they do vary, but many of the best betting sites in the UK in 2020 have them at 14/1. Tom Brady sticking around seems to be the most likely scenario, but until the ink is dry, nothing is safe.

Looking into some of the more speculative bets, the Green Bay Packers could be overpriced at 18/1. Matt LaFleur’s first season as head coach was a relative success, and if they can give Aaron Rodgers a bit more to work with, the Pack may be able to go even further than their 2020 NFC Championship appearance.

With all of the talent on the Dallas Cowboys roster, it is remarkable how much they have underwhelmed in recent years. Supporters will hope that the removal of coach Jason Garrett will boost their chances going forward. Odds are quite mixed across the board, perhaps pending the outcome of Dak Prescott’s contract talks, but the best price of 20/1 is worth a look.

The Tennessee Titans became everybody’s favourite team to watch throughout the back end of the regular season. Coach Mike Vrabel then went on to mastermind playoff wins over the Patriots and Ravens before falling short against the Chiefs at Arrowhead. If you claim the Betway sign up offer, you can grab the Titans at 25/1 and scoop some free bets.

Also priced between the 16/1 and 30/1 range are the likes of the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.

All of the above can stake a claim as far as reaching Super Bowl LV is concerned, and the same can be said for some of the outsiders. After all, very few punters tipped the 49ers to get so far.
