Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season was packed full of plenty memorable moments. Crazy to think that there is an actual time during the year where this sport is not played and people keep their sanity. All that pent-up insanity now has a release and Twitter provides the platform.
Who made the cut for the best tweets from Week 2?
Sam Bradford is hurt and water is wet
In a bit of a surprise, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford sat out the team’s Week 2 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a knee injury. This, despite the fact that he played out of his mind in Week 1 and did not show any signs of being injured. For most, however, Bradford having a knee injury is nothing new.
Sam Bradford plays his best game in a long time and then gets hurt.
Most Sam Bradford thing ever.

An overtime Jon Gruden wouldn’t even be excited about
The matchup between the winless Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals on Sunday was not what most would call “exciting” or even “better than watching paint dry.” So to thank everyone who was praying for the game to just end, the two teams decided to extend the visual torture and play some overtime football.
Colts-Cardinals going overtime is like getting an extra Thursday night game. #blessed

It’s like Jay Cutler never left (well, because he didn’t)
Quarterback Jay Cutler made his debut with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and helped them to a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. For those who thought Cutler might come out a bit more wise and conservative for the Dolphins, think again!

A very monumental day for Mr. Rob Gronkowski
Despite leaving Sunday’s game with a groin injury (unknown if sustained the night before), New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski still managed to haul in a touchdown pass during the team’s win over the New Orleans Saints. This particular touchdown catch was one that should go down as an important moment when the Gronkowski biopic is made in another decade.
Rob Gronkowski scored his 69th career receiving TD, he caught 6 of 9 targets. And also suffered a groin injury. Can’t make it up. #Patriots

Rob Gronkowski got a groin injury on the day he got 69. Just a little warning for all you kids out there.

So Marshawn Lynch thinks he can dance?
Nobody may be enjoying the 2017 season more than Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch. He’s playing for his hometown team, they’re unbeaten so far, and he has a ton of reasons to be dancing on the sideline.
Dance like nobody’s watching.
