Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr., wide receiver for the LA Rams, talks with reporters on Super Bowl Media Day at William Rolland Stadium on Friday, Feb 11, 2022. Don’t use duplicate

Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the most intriguing players left available on the market.

Beckham had an extremely up and down year in 2021, first starting the season with the Cleveland Browns, where things fell apart and he was subsequently released by the team. He then signed on the with Los Angeles Rams, who eventually found him extremely useful en route to winning a Super Bowl.

Beckham, unfortunately, suffered a gruesome torn ACL in the second quarter of the Super Bowl, which certainly puts his future into question given it’s his second ACL tear in the same knee.

It appears that his time with the Rams may be done with the team signing free-agent wide receiver Allen Robinson in the offseason. Now, odds have emerged as to where the three-time Pro-Bowler will end up next year.

According to Bovada Sportsbook, the favorite to sign Beckham this offseason is the New England Patriots, who currently sit at -110 to land him.

The rest of the teams that are listed as options to bet on from the sportsbook are the New Orleans Saints at +300, the Las Vegas Raiders at +400, the Baltimore Ravens at +500, the Green Bay Packers at +500, and the Indianapolis Colts at +950.

It makes sense that the Patriots are the most likely team to sign the veteran wide receiver.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the team was interested in Beckham when he was released by the Browns back in November and has been in talks with Beckham this offseason.

It is assumed that Beckham will be out for at least a short portion of the 2022 season after successful ACL surgery to repair his knee. NFL insider Ian Rapoport did provide an update on Beckham on Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show, saying that this surgery went extremely well and will likely extend his career.

This certainly makes it interesting when it comes to free agency this year. There are a ton of questions surrounding him, but it looks like the Patriots may be the team to take a chance on him going forward.
