Global music sensation Beyoncé has secured yet another award, and this time it’s coming on the heels of a collaboration with the NFL. Beyoncé did the halftime show for the Christmas Day game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.
The broadcast numbers for the game peaked during her performance of songs from her hit “Cowboy Carter” album, with 27 million people tuning into her performance, according to The Spun.
While she was crushing ratings, Beyoncé also won an Emmy Award for outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction or reality programming.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“See when you’re the greatest pop star of the 21st century, things like this come naturally,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Beyoncé winning her first Emmy for costume design feels like the universe finally recognizing that her artistry isn’t just in music — it’s in every thread, every detail. This is just the beginning of her conquering even more world,” someone else added.
“Iused to joke around about sport stats. Saying they make up stats just to make sure every player can have some kind of title. I get this same vibe for Beyonce. How long into she gets her Pulitzer and Nobel?” one person wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see if the superstar continues to work with the NFL in the future.
