For being as famous and successful as he is, Bill Belichick remains something of a man of mystery. The way that he deflects and withholds during press conferences is an artform and rare is the interview where he divulges very much about what makes him tick. Still, the six-time Super Bowl champion remains a person that many people want to get to know better, especially Boston-area Patriots fans.
What we do know that is Bill enjoys the occasional adult beverage, such as the Budweisers he was seen drinking following New England’s 54-13 beatdown of the New York Jets on Sunday.

Belichick stopped by WEEI’s The Greg Hill Show on Monday and was finally asked the most important question anyone could ask an NFL head coach.
“We actually saw a grainy, Bigfoot-like photo of you enjoying what appears to be a Budweiser after the game,” asked Greg. “Is the King of Beers your go-to after a win?”
“Uh, no, not really. It’s just what was on the menu,” said Bill.
“If you could order one beer, what would be your choice?” Greg asked.
Bill’s answer? “Yeah…whatever’s cold.”

Such a Bill Belichick answer. And everyone reacted according to hearing it.

They say that part of Belichick’s genius is his ability to simplify the complex.
When asked this morning on the @TheGregHillShow what his go-to beer is, Belichick responded “whatever’s cold.”
A real man of genius. @budweiserusa

Far be it from anyone to criticize Bill’s beer choices. However, if he was hoping to angle that lucrative Budweiser sponsorship deal, he just missed his big chance. We’re guessing Belichick is perfectly fine about it.
