Tom Brady hit two more milestones on Sunday. The legendary quarterback captained his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a comeback victory over the Los Angeles Rams in typical Brady fashion. He set the mark for the most game-winning drives led in NFL history. The seven-time Super Bowl Champion did something else that was terrific as well. Tom eclipsed the 100,000-yard mark for passing yards, marking another unbelievable achievement in his 23-year career.

Brady drew praise from many with his series of achievements. That praise came from just about everyone, including his former coach. The legendary Bill Belichick was asked for comment on his former quarterback’s latest round of historic accomplishments:

Speaking on WEEI’s The Greg Hill Show, Belichick offered, “It’s a tremendous accomplishment by Tom and a real credit to everything about him.” He continued, praising his longevity and even had a sense of bewilderment. “He’s worked extremely hard and is very good at what he does. That’s an amazing stat. I don’t even know how far 100,000 yards is.”

There’s been reported tension between Brady and Belichick in the past. That isn’t too hard to misunderstand. Keeping things cool for 20 years is no small feat. In any case, no such tension exists here though. Belichick had no problem heaping praise onto his former QB, joining many others in that regard.
