After Vikings kicker Blair Walsh missed the kick that would have sent his team to the divisional round to play Arizona, he was inundated with supportive messages from a first grade class at Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine, Minnesota. So, Walsh decided to thank them in person by meeting the kids in person on Thursday.
Here are a few snippets from the meet-and-greet:

Enzo Daniel-Douti was particularly excited about his new Teddy Bridgewater and Blair Walsh cards (wouldn’t we all be?):

Maybe the best moment of the day was when Walsh was asked if he had a guinea pig and said that his family has a poodle. Prescient way to dance around that potential minefield, Blair.
Walsh did get plenty of parting gifts from the kids, including a cute stuffed animal:

Good for Walsh, and good for the kids.
