What kind of player has Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott been in his career? The answer to that question will likely depend on who you ask. The New York Giants would likely say that Scott is a freakish hybrid of the greatest running backs in NFL history.
Little went right for the Giants in the first half of Saturday night’s NFC Divisional Round Game. The Eagles dominated the first two quarters en route to a 28-0 lead. In the second quarter, Scott capped off a nine-play, 63-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown run.

Between the regular season and playoffs, Scott has scored 19 touchdowns in his career. His second quarter touchdown on Saturday was the 11th in his career against the Giants.
Scott’s touchdown and overall dominance of New York got the attention of a lot of football fans, several of whom placed a wager on Scott crossing the goal line at some point on Saturday.

BOSTON SCOTT GIANT KILLER 😈

Scott was otherwise not used much — at least as a ball carrier — in the first half. He finished the first half against the Giants with 13 yards rushing on only two carries.
In this case, though, the Eagles and Scott will happily take quality over quantity.
While the Giants are clearly Scott’s favorite opponent, they are not the only team he’s enjoyed great success against. He also three touchdowns against the Detroit Lions and two against the Washington Commanders.
