During his 15 seasons as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers created some rivalries with the teams and players in the NFC North division. And now that he’s joining the New York Jets, some players in the AFC East are already excited about facing him.
During a press conference this week, Miami Dolphins pass rusher Bradley Chubb revealed that he’s excited about the prospect of facing Aaron Rodgers twice a season, calling Rodgers “one of the best quarterbacks that ever played the game.”
“I’m excited,” Chubb said according to Pro Football Talk. “It’s an opportunity to play against one of the best quarterbacks that ever played the game. I’m excited to compete against that twice a year. Each time I play him, it brings out the best in everybody. Everybody knows that we got A-Rod this week, so we got to be on our Ps and Qs. Now we’ve just got a division full of great quarterbacks. So I’m excited to be in the mix and be competing towards the end of the year when it really counts and stuff like that. So it’s gonna be fun.”
We’ll have to see if Chubb is able to have success against Rodgers when they meet on the field this season.
