For the second year in a row, the biggest headline coming out of New York Jets training camp is a fight.

In 2015, the fight occurred between Jets quarterback Geno Smith and IK Enemkpali. This time, it’s between newly acquired wide receiver Brandon Marshall and cornerback Darrelle Revis. The two went at it during a Jets’ practice Friday. The incident reportedly escalated to the point where punches were exchanged between the two players.

ESPN’s Rich Cimini was there to see all of the action take place.

Jets WR Brandon Marshall took a swing at Darrelle Revis in practice. Marshall was on the sideline and walked over to Revis, who was on the field. They exchanged words and Marshall threw a punch with his right hand. They were quickly separated. Quincy Enunwa literally picked up Marshall and carried him away. Marshall had been jawing at Revis throughout the practice. Fireworks at Jets camp.

According to reports, Marshall and Revis had been practicing against each other most of the day. Revis started out the day dominating play.

After Revis’ early dominance, Marshall got some revenge. This sparked some trash talk.

This escalated into the punching and reportedly included Marshall taunting Revis about his struggles at Houston Texas receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Following the incident, Marshall and Revis were separated and did not practice against teach other the rest of the day. When practice ended, only Marshall and New York coach Todd Bowles were the only ones to speak to the media.

Marshall also referenced the fact that the two are close and that there is still tension. It will be interesting to see if this is just good competition or an issue that follows the Jets around throughout the 2016 season.
