The Denver Broncos defeated the Buffalo Bills in an overtime thriller to advance past the divisional round of the AFC playoffs. However, fans had quite a scare after head coach Sean Payton’s post-game press conference.

Payton announced that franchise quarterback Bo Nix’s season was over due to suffering a brutal ankle injury with broken bones that will require surgery, ruling him out of both the AFC Championship and a potential Super Bowl appearance.

However, the good news for Nix is that he is only in the second season of his professional career, meaning he’ll have ample opportunities to get back to this stage, and in a breath of fresh air.

Nix’s wife also shared a fantastic message of thier faith resilience.

“God could have placed us anywhere, and I’m so grateful He chose Denver. He is the perfect Author of Bo’s story and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for this team – We’ll be on the front row, cheering the loudest!!!”

Fans reacted to her words on social media.

“Jarrett Stidham revenge game against the Patriots is an insane script,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Feel bad for him. Got them all the way there. I’d wrap it up and play if Daniel jones can play with a broken leg,” someone else added.

“Ts sucks man. I hope he bounces back,” another fan added.

Hopefully, the young quarterback comes back next season stronger than ever.
